How to build a new visual identity for Finland's largest film rental & production service company? Most of the time their gear and people are hard at work behind some of the country's biggest productions but in this project we wanted to turn the spotlight around and put their
staff & equipment dead center instead.
For the staff portraits, a cinematic, moody look was chosen to complement the company's own environments. While planning the still life images we looked to classic cinema for inspiration. Angel Films' own rental pieces were turned into characters starring in their own show on their black stages.
We wanted to showcase equipment that wasn't brand new - to us, those small knicks and scratches just added to their charisma.
